about the fete food court stalls – 2017 raffle tug of war charity the stage & arena stage applications dog show sponsorship raffle information/faqs next kew midsummer fete, 23rd june 2018 11am - 6pm facebook twitter email about the fete food court stalls – 2017 raffle tug of war charity the stage & arena stage applications dog show sponsorship raffle information/faqs kew fete - saturday 23rd june 2018 over 100 stalls, reuben bond's vintage fairground, entertainment on the stage all day, the famous kew fete friendly dog show, the infamous kew fete tug of war, charity raffle raising money for local charities since kew mid-summer fete started in 2010, £114,266 has been given away to a total of 32 charities in the kew/richmond area the friendly dog show register from 12:30 on the day, starts at 3pm, multiple classes to enter, mystery celebrity judge the stage entertainment on the stage from 11am - 6pm, local bands, local schools performing over 120 stalls stalls for all ages, over 100 on the green and 20 covered in the marquee, over 15 food and drinks stalls in the food court, lots of local charity stalls the friendly tug of war open to all, adults and children, mixed and single teams of 6, register your team here or on the day kew fete 2018 saturday 23rd june 2018 11am - 6pm location: pond side, kew green, kew, london, tw9 3ap parking: please, please use public transport. there is limited parking around the green and most of that’ll be used by the 120 stall-holders that attend the fete. getting there: kew fete is within easy walking distance of kew gardens station (district line and london overground) and kew bridge station (london overground). buses that stop on the green are the 65 and 391 and the 237 and 267 buses stop a short walk on the other side of kew bridge. to plan your journey use the planner on transport for london’s website and use the postcode tw9 3ap as your destination. at the fete: reuben bond's vintage fairground with carousels, a helter skelter and many more rides for the kids. the stage with local acts performing from 11am - 6pm. acts are from locals schools, local performing arts clubs and bands etc. we have around 110 stalls at the fete (please note, that all stall spaces are now sold and we have a full waiting list) food court with over 15 stalls with a great selection of food and drink. beer tent charity stalls, many of our local charities are represented at the fete. the friendly dog show - for many the highlight of the fete. you can register your dog between midday & 2:30pm (don't leave it too late spaces are limited!), with the show starting at 3:00pm. tug of war competition, for adults and children. enter your team (teams of 6) on the day before 1pm with the first pull at 1:30pm charity raffle - with prizes donated by local businesses, the raffle will be drawn at 5pm. kew midsummer fete 2017, record breaking temperatures, huge crowds and a fund raising landmark achieved the fantastic sunny weather on saturday 17 june brought out thousands of people to enjoy the annual kew midsummer fete on kew green which is now a key fixture in the local area although fans and stall holders are drawn from all over london. the weather gave the event a wonderful summer atmosphere as children enjoyed the traditional victorian funfair rides, bouncy slide, bungee inflatable and the welcome shade of the mobile farm. meanwhile the music, dance and karate acts on the stage made it feel like the start of festival season as the crowds swayed to the rhythms and drank plenty of fuller’s beer – 1,800 pints which ran the bar dry of one variety and pimm’s, elderflower water and ice cream sales hit the roof! the ever popular beat the goalie and new london scottish rugby training session got youngsters trying out their skills and the tug of war was bravely fought despite the heat, although sadly the committee ladies had to concede defeat despite some reinforcements from london scottish!
